The Institute for Equality in Development Innovations tie together grassroots action-research with transnational early-career scholars, providing indigenous perspectives to guide open access publish with a commitment to COPE standards.

Aims & Scope

Equality: The Review publishes on intersectional systems of inequalities, including:

Complex systemic inequalities · Environmental inequalities · Health inequalities · Gender inequalities · Economic inequalities · Racial & colonial inequalities · Urban-rural inequalities · Global developmental inequalities

We accept original empirical research; systematic reviews; community projects including PAR, CBR, general AR, or praxis papers; studies on highly marginalized or multiply-marginalized subpopulations; as well as submissions on media & humanities which analyze the social construction of inequalities as culture. Papers falling under the broader social justice umbrella will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
